The Fundamentals WebCourse is a part of the CDFA Training Institute's Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP) Program. Register today, and start down the road to personal and professional advancement.

This course has been updated to reflect the recently released 2nd Edition of the Practitioner's Guide to Economic Development Finance. The guide now features new commentary on the development finance toolbox, expanded discussion on emerging financing tools, new and updated case studies featuring dynamic development finance agencies, and an overhauled federal support tools section.

The Fundamentals of Economic Development Finance WebCourse will help you understand the variety of development finance tools available from bonds, tax credits, and TIF to revolving loan funds, federal financing programs and more. Topics covered during the Fundamentals WebCourse include:

How a WebCourse Works

The Fundamentals of Economic Development Finance WebCourse will be presented via the web over two days and will include lecture and presentations from speakers throughout the country. Attendees will be asked to log into the WebCourse from 12-5pm (EST) on each day of the course and will be able to raise their hands, ask questions, comment on presentations, and take interactive polls during the sessions. CDFA's Course Advisor will also be moderating the WebCourse to ensure speaker and participant interaction throughout each session.

Participants must have access to a computer and phone to attend the WebCourse. Participants will receive instructions for logging into the WebCourse in a follow-up email after registering. Course materials will be mailed to participants approximately one week before the course.
